Garden Updates
We are proud that our produce is harvested at the peak of flavor and nutrition, giving you maxium taste and health benefits at an affordable price. We practice sustainable farming . . . the art of partnership rather than control over nature.
We also raise llamas, free-range chickens, a 13 year old duck, and geese. In Februabry 2010 we were selected as one in 10 "ecopreneurs" to participate in the pilot "Rural Woman's Project", sponsored by The Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES).
FREE-RANGE CHICKEN EGGS from our happy chickens who run and play in the sun are always available! Call us to pick up a dozen . . . and don't forget the jam!
Want to learn more about organic gardening and sustainable agriculture? Learn from our 25 years of experience by volunteering in the garden! All volunteers receive a farm-fresh lunch.
2012 Garden Shares Available! Join now!
Being part of a garden share or a CSA (community supported agriculture) at The Bridge-Between enables you to receive weekly shares of fresh garden produce. You make it possible for small farmers, like us at The Bridge-Between, to supplement our income as we continue to sustainably tend Earth.
CSA’s require that we share with you the bounty and the risk of growing plants and animals in harmony with nature. You, as a shareholder, must understand that circumstances beyond our control may have an effect on yield, quality, and choice of produce available. We will do our best to steward wisely. Our produce is harvested at the peak of flavor and nutrition, giving you maximum taste and health benefits at an affordable price $300 for 15 weeks. This share is perfect for households of 1– 3 people. Double shares are available for larger families. Space is limited, call or email to reserve your 2012 garden share.
